The help of Parents

What could be more of a blessing at a time like this? Help from my parents. We currently live off of my husbands income and pay way to much for our apartment. So usually one whole paycheck of my husbands goes to rent and sometimes even that is short. So the 2ND paycheck is the one where we pay all the bills with and go grocery shopping with and any extra. We have basically stretched our self really thin. But thanks to my parents who always seem to be there when there are no answers. Usually my husband does side work and in fact had 2 jobs he was going to do this past weekend but of course they fell through. So there goes extra money needed. So now we are able to pay our bills and maybe pay one of my bills which has been neglected for a long time now. What a relief off our shoulders. I hate telling my husband to work more overtime to get that extra buck. but sometimes it has to be done. The hardest part about it is I hate asking for money and I hate complaining but sometimes I just got to let someone know and cry on someones shoulder. That's where my mother comes in, she has always been there for me and has always allowed me to cry on her shoulder whenever I need it. Thanks mom. I don't know what we would have done this past 3 years of marriage without my parents. They have been there through it all and have been the best example of what marriage looks like. I wish I knew all this when I was a teenager and I didn't want anything to do with them. How many kids say they want to be just like their parents. Well I know I Do...

  1. Hey Jen! I'm glad that I saw you started a blog. I love blogging. It's a good way to talk to people and get out everything you have inside...almost like a diary I guess, except people read it.

I understand what you mean about strehing paychecks. When we first got married it was really hard. Now we are lucky enough that Justin has a great job in the military and we never have to worry about anything (but it comes at a price. He's ALWAYS gone).

I hope you are doing well! Feel free to stop by my blog!
